I'm still sort of stuck in Rut-Land, but I am slowly crawling out. It's been a rough couple of weeks, financially and otherwise, but I am kind of getting there. I spent last weekend shoveling out my house and doing dishes and grading, so I didn't actually make much, but I did stumble across this tutorial and decided to whip a few up for some upcoming birthdays.
fronts above, backs below.... And then I put my own twist on it a little bit...I am probably going to keep this one because the buttonholes are messed up and it's just a bit short. Pardon the purple stamp on my hand....
I still want to refine it a little bit to make it more French cuff-like. And can I just say that tiny buttonholes are FROM THE DEVIL. I am also working on a baby blanket for a friend. I am pretty excited about it and all I have to do is finish the binding tonight and wash it. It's a bit unusual and I hope to post soon....

Hey, me likey! :) Buttonholes and I don't get along, so I can see tiny buttonholes really sending me into a tizzy! How about snaps? What am I asking for -- you are the queen of closures! LOL
So cute! I'm going to need my mojo to return after making all of these pieces for this fashion show coming up.
Don't think I have forgotten about you! I really haven't. Life has been so hectic, and I never expected it to get this busy. I was actually just thinking about my elephants/mini purse and I needed to email you. Give me another week. I promise.
Glad you're back! And we all have times like this. Sometimes focusing creatively in another direction--even shoveling snow, can help!
I would have been throwing those tiny buttons across the room :) That's whay I stick to paper crafts for now... Those look cute though!
