Hot Chocolate 101

Gas prices are coming down, but hot chocolate remains high....so here's a shortcut for you!

2 cups nondairy creamer
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 heaping cup unsweetened cocoa

I prefer dark chocolate, and not-too-sweet cocoa, and I prefer to make cocoa with milk, so I put a sort-of-heaping teaspoon into enough milk to make one mug full, then heat over medium-low heat for 5-6 minutes or until steaming. Stir it fairly frequently...I'm not a good cook, but I do know that burned milk smells B-A-D.

Then sink into a nice deep armchair with a good book and a warm blanket and sip!

You should throw in a couple of m&m's to the cocoa. I love the mints ones... makes it super rich and lovely :)

Oh, and hello winner! Welcome to the club!
